美國留學如何寫一封得體的英文郵件

剛到美國留學的學生一定避免不了要寫各種英文郵件進行交流。不論是要和教授、同學交流作業(yè),還是要和老板同事探討工作內容都會進行頻繁的郵件溝通。 那么如何寫一封得體的英文郵件呢?下面托普仕Alice老師為大家詳細介紹~

  01. 標題

  給郵件一個簡單、明確、具體的標題是非常重要的,讓對方看一眼標題就知道這篇郵件大概要說什么。 例如:

  如果你即將畢業(yè),需要發(fā)給advisor詢問畢業(yè)課程或者學分等等。這時候的標題可以寫:Graduation check

  02. 稱謂

  寫郵件的第一步,首先要清楚對方的稱謂,怎么稱呼收件人。

  *頭銜/職位

  Dear Prof.(教授)/Dr.(博士)+ 姓

  (要記得greeting后面的標點符號是逗號, 然后空一行之后才正式開始信的內容。)

  *跟對方郵件來往較多

  Hi XX或者Hello XX(收件人的First Name)

  *第一次和對方聯(lián)系,或者不熟悉

  “Dear+姓” 比如Dear Mr. Green, Mrs. Green

  *如果不知道對方(女性)是否已婚,用“Ms.”

  *如果不知道對方姓氏或性別,使用“Dear Sir/Madam ”

  問候語

  郵件開頭第一句一般是簡單的問候,與對方寒暄一下,增加一些親切感。

  例如:

  How are you? I hope you are doing well。How is the project going?

  03. 正文

  最重要的是簡化句子去表達意思,不要用復雜的長單詞或是技術術語使郵件內容累贅冗長。保證句子是清楚易懂的就沒有問題。

  詢問信息

  *I am writing to inquire about…

  *Could you give me some information about...?

  *I would like to know ...

  *I’m interested in receiving/finding out ..

  提出要求

  *I’d be grateful if you could ...

  *I wonder if you could ...

  *Do you think I could have ...?

  添加附件

  Please find attached the file (we discussed/you requested, etc.).

  I’m sending you ... as a pdf file.

  作出承諾

  *I’ll investigate the matter.

  *I will contact you again shortly.

  提供/尋求幫助

  *Would you like me to ...?

  *If you wish, I would be happy to ...

  *Let me know whether you would like me to ...

  *It would be nice if you could provide a bit more information on ...

  *I would really appreciate meeting up if you can spare the time.

  04. 結尾

  郵件最后一部分通常會表示感謝或解釋下一步是什么。

  *Thank you for your time and consideration.

  *I look forward to hearing from you.

  *Please contact me if you have any question.

  *I appreciate your prompt process in ...

  *We are grateful for ...

  *It has been a pleasure to ...

  落款

  【落款】的格式通常為“謙辭,換行+姓名”,例如:

  Best Regards,Tong(Owen)Wang

  常用的表達還有:

  *Sincerely,your Sincerely

  *Regards, Best Regards

  *All the best/All best

  *Take care

  *Best wishes

  Applying for a position

  4. 關于職位 (簡單的說一兩句你為什么對這個工作感興趣和你曾經相關的經歷)

  *I am interested in this position because ...

  *I feel I would be well-suited for this position because I have a lot of experience in ...

  5. 添加簡歷

  *The attachment below is my CV / Resume / Cover Letter. (看招聘網站的要求,上傳相應的內容。)

  *I have attached my CV / Resume / Cover Letter as a PDF document.

  6. 結束語和結尾問候

  *I would be grateful if you would consider my application.

  *I am available for interview in .../ by phone any weekday afternoon, and you can email me or telephone me on the number below.

  *I look forward to hearing from you soon.

  *Yours faithfully (通常用于無具體人名抬頭Dear Sir/Madam的信件結尾)

  *Yours sincerely(通常用于有具體人名抬頭Dear Mr. James/Dear Ms. Jasmin 的信件結尾)
